Hi, I'm DJ Schuby and I made this map. This is my, 5th map I think. I made a handful of maps back in the day around 2008 to 2011. I quit urt around that time and as of January 2025 I'm playing and making maps again! This map was kind of my re-introduction to mapping. I think the new gtkradiant 1.6.7 is more stable and less likely to crash than whatever version I was using back in 2011, but it is far less user friendly. I have no idea how to only select the face of a brush lol.
Anyway, I used to make these readme files very detailed with lots of relevant info or even getting too caught up in extra details, now I'm just typing because this is the first readme file I've typed up since creating this map.
I got the idea for this map from that one multiplayer map from the first Halo game, Halo: Combat Evolved. That map with the 2 spaceships that were really long and far away from eachother. Everyone either played snipers only or rocket launchers only on that map whatever it was called. Fun times.
The map is bot compatible, so feel free to play around with bots, though the bots are dipshits and don't do much besides occasionally fighting on the bridge, running around in circles near the building doors, or jumping off the edge of the building or bridge.
There are 2 music tracks in this map made by me, DJ Schuby, and my old friend who got me into djing, DJ Dexenex (RIP Shane).
I think thats all I really have to say for now, I'll update this readme next time I update the map, if there's need to update. Maybe I'll get better at gtk radiant and learn how to only select the face of a brush lol.
